Budget 2026 - 27
According to the Budget Report for the financial year 2026–2027, the Panchayat’s primary focus has been given to social welfare, infrastructure development, healthcare and education sectors, sanitation activities, and state-sponsored schemes. In the revenue section, tax revenue, fees, grants, subsidies, and rental income are considered the major sources of income. Government grants and contributions, in particular, continue to remain the main financial support for the Panchayat. In the expenditure section, the highest allocations have been made for programme expenses and state-sponsored projects. Special consideration has also been given to employee establishment expenses, administrative costs, and operation and maintenance expenditures. Overall, the report indicates that the budget has been comprehensively prepared with priority given to development activities and the improvement of public services.
